DAMN IT OPPO! I've just got the call I have been waiting for and it's the worst possible time to get it! my mighty minions of liquor store jockeys has finally came through. I got a call that one of them has received a shipment of Pappy Van Winkle 23 year as well as 15, 12 and 10! the worst part is they only want 549 for the 23 year! DAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN! that's cheap. I'm also just happen to be sitting on my taxes return. how ever, My car is in the shop at the moment getting a stupid emissions issue fixed and tomorrow i was gonna buy some much needed tires.. I could not buy tires and buy a bottle of 23 year, or both a 15 and a 12 year. or I could buy tires and afford none! what to do what to do......

EDIT: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, just called the store, the 23 year is gone.... :/ and they raised the price on the remaining 15,12 and 10. they want $140 for the 10 now.. it was 80 yesterday.. god damn it!

Find another Opponaut local to you to go halvsies+ buy bottle of 23 year Pappy = an evening sipping Pappy with an Opponaut for *two* Opponauts. Great success.

hahaha. When it comes to booze I never think the very $$$$ stuff is worth it. But my god, this stuff.. This stuff is what I imagine an angel would lactate from their tits. It's truly ruined every and all other bourbons for me.

normally I'd agree. but this stuff.. There is no equal of less price.. trust me I've tried it all. I love bourbon and ever since a buddy and I drank a bottle of 15 year he won in a poker game, nothing has been the same. it's, it's just wonderful.

I just might. it's either this, or another pair of disappointing mid range tires for my baby.. But she does need them badly.. she's got shit general HP's ATM that are near the end of their life.

I know the feel, I've been developing an increasingly more expensive scotch habit. So the prudent, adult thing to do is buy the tires. But I'm a 30 year old man child so I'd probably buy the booze.

I'm sure a 23 year is good, but there are plenty of high year whiskey options around 100 or less.

Eh, I've had it. does not compare. But also I am biased as I do not care for Irish Whiskey. it's not very good. I'm an American Bourbon man!

Well frankly it shouldn't compare! it's $40 vs $549!

I'm just saying if it were me I'd save $509 and be happy with a nice glass of Teeling.

But I don't have 500+ to throw around for a bottle of whisky either.

it sold any ways.. :'( I just called them.. and they raised the prices because the jerk who bought it didn't ask for a price and offered them $800.. naturally they took it and now the 10 year is up to $140, the 12 is $230 and the 15 $400.. boooooo might just get some 10 year and softly weep.

Will do! I love Absinthe almost as much as I love Bourbon, and I got a doozey of a bottle. I also may or may not have a bottle or two of Coca wine stashed we might get into.
